Zagreb ready to host the EUSA Conference 2015

Zagreb, the Croatian capital, will host the EUSA Conference 2015 and other EUSA events between March 26 and 29. Within the events programme, the European University Sports Association will held the Executive Committee Meeting on March 26, EUSA Conference and Convention on March 27 and 28.

The events will be held at the Hotel Panorama in Zagreb and will also feature Exhibition on European University Sport, opening in Zagreb on March 27 and will conclude with a special Gala on March 28, honouring the best and celebrating their achievements for the previous year.

EUSA Executive Committee Meeting, Conference, Convention and Gala will be hosted by the Croatian Academic Sports Federation (CASF) and the Organising Committee of the European Universities Games Zagreb-Rijeka 2016, and supported by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).

The Conference will feature several plenary sessions, on European Universities Games; Creating Legacy; Dual Careers and Education through Sport; and Activating Europe - European Week of Sport. Also interesting workshops in forms of parallel sessions will be organised: Opportunities for Students towards Increasing Employability; Equality and Ethics in Sport; Engaging Students – Good Practices; Funding Opportunities; and The New Media.

EUSA and EUG2016 Representatives

EUSA Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl and EUSA Sports Manager Mr Patrik Perosa visited Zagreb on March 16 for inspection visit, finalising the arrangements. They were welcomed by Mrs Danira Bilic, Ms Jelena Matesic and Ms Krunoslava Kauzlaric, and together they made sure everything is ready for over 200 participants who will attend the EUSA events in Zagreb next week.
