YIAP partners meet in Lisbon
On February 13-14, in the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, the transnational partners meeting of the Youth Integrity Ambassador Program (YIAP) took place, happening on the occasion of the YIAP Training Course for young ambassadors.
Representatives from ENGSO (SWE), ENGSO Youth (SWE), EUSA (SLO), Special Olympics Europe-Eurasia Foundation - SOEE (IRE), Portuguese Sport Confederation (POR), Lithuanian Sport Federation Union (LTU), Organisation for Sports Education - OPES (ITA) and RF- SISU Småland (SWE) were attending the meeting that was held in the Pousada de Juventude Youth Center and Hostel.
After the short introduction, the attendees had a short updated on the phases and timelines, the communications recap as well as important information about the local events and the future working activities devoted to each partner. Partners also discussed a support strategy to the local teams in their activities and covered the objectives of the ongoing Training Course.
Part of this meeting was also devoted to discussing in debt the participants local actions, important deadlines and general indications, such as the possible type of activities, attendants, the framework that has to be respected in the process of implementation as well as the YIAP toolkit as a very important outcome of the project.
The second day, the representatives of the partner organisation discussed the steps and events connected to the finishing of the project, such as the evaluation course, the outcomes and the dates and structure of the final conference as well as the final coordination meeting, both foreseen to take place in Sweden.
Funded by the Erasmus+ Youth Programme of the European Union, the project will run for a period of 24 months from May 2022 to April 2024. The YIAP project is led by the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO) with ENGSO Youth (SWE) and Swedish Sports Confederation (SWE), partnering with EUSA Institute (SLO), Special Olympics Europe-Eurasia Foundation - SOEE (IRL), RF-SISU Smäland (SWE), Portuguese Sport Confederation (POR), Lithuanian Union Of Sport Federation - LSFS (LTU), Organisation for Sports Education - OPES (ITA) and associating partners The European Lotteries.
