Working meetings in Porto in preparation for Football Championship

Porto, second biggest Portuguese city, will host this year’s European Universities Football Championship from July 23 to 30. EUC 2017 Football Organizing Committee Secretary General Mr Nuno Loureiro organized a meeting with EUSA Sports Manager Mr Besim Aliti and FADU President Mr Daniel Monteiro where they discussed all organizational details of the Championship and discussed on readiness of certain organizational areas.

In addition to the meeting, EUSA Sports Manager visited the competition and accommodation areas.

Sports facilities for EUSA Football Championship

Secretary General of the organizing Committee Mr Loureiro stressed that they have a strong team who is fully dedicated to the organization of the Championship and have a strong support from the host partners. According to him, this will be one of the most successful editions of EUSA Football competitions and create a lasting legacy for students in Porto.

FADU President Mr Monteiro said: “Porto is one of our strongest members with extensive experience in organizing FISU and EUSA competitions and I have no doubt they will, once again, organize a great event.”

EUSA Sports Manager Mr Besim Aliti, expressed his satisfaction with the readiness of organizing committee as well as the readiness and standard of sport and accommodation venues.
