Working meeting on orienteering
EUSA Technical Delegate for orienteering Mr Dusan Vystavel met with EUSA President Mr Adam Roczek to discuss the sport. The meeting was held in Wroclaw on Tuesday, August 11, and the two representatives both expressed hope that university sport will be back on track in a short time.
Orienteering was introduced to the EUSA sports family in 2019, when the inaugural European Universities Orienteering Championship was held in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Orienteering will be also featured during the European Universities Games in Belgrade next summer.
In order to increase the participation among students of higher education in sport, and to provide the best conditions for EUSA sports events, the European University Sports Association (EUSA) has a memorandum of understanding with the International Orienteering Federation (IOF).
