The International University Sports Federation (FISU) announced the list of countries which have confirmed their candidature for the 2011 Winter and Summer Universiade and have fulfilled all the requirements of the procedure. With great pride we see many EUSA members submitting their bid.
Summer Universiade 2011 Candidate cities:
1. Shenzhen - China
2. Kaoshiung - Chinese Taipei
3. Kazan - Russia
4. Poznan - Poland
5. Murcia - Spain

Winter Universiade 2011 Candidate cities:
1. Erzurum - Turkey
2. Maribor - Slovenia

The FISU Executive Committee will decide on the organisers of the 2011 Universiades
on January 16, 2007 in Torino / ITA.
