Slovenian University Sports Association (SUSA) is very busy in the 10th year of its existence. After bidding for winter universiade 2011 and taking part in Torino Winter Universiade (where Slovenian student athletes won 10 medals), SUSA focused on the national university championships, which were organised in 10 sports in May.

In 2007, SUSA will send teams to European Universities Championships in Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Volleyball, Tennis, Badminton and Futsal. In July, we will organise EUC Futsal in Izola. In the same month we will also organise – under the patronage of FISU and in cooperation with EUSA and University of Ljubljana – the International seminar on university sport. SUSA will be also present in Bangkok Summer Universiade with 70 participants and on FISU General Assembly, where Mr. Otmar Kugovnik, SUSA President will run for the position of the Assessor in FISU Executive Committee.
