UNI4s project partners united online
Partners of the Erasmus+ project (Uni)ted forces to support the education of (Uni)versity sport comm(Uni)ty – (Uni4S) met online for a virtual meeting on August 25 to discuss various points of the two-year project.
Prior to the next meeting that will soon be held in person in Lodz, Poland during the EUSA EUG2022 Convention, operational and administrative matters for this EU-funded initiative on the topic were discussed, as well as the time frame for various project activities due to the postponement and uncertainty of various events owing to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The aim of the project is to create educational opportunities for staff working in university sport associations, thereby reinforcing the workforce within the university sport. Due to current worldwide situation the project seems to be gaining in importance, as the need to create conditions for skills development of participants in the area of organising university sport events grows each day.
Project partners include the University Sports Association of Poland (POL), University Sports Association of Warsaw (POL), Student Sports Netherlands (NED) and the EUSA Institute (SLO), all of whom are fully committed to the project and are confident the progression within the university sport community will be made despite the unprecedented situation.
