Academic Sports Association Zurich (ASVZ), with the support of the Swiss University Sports Federation (SHSV) organized the 43rd SOLA Race on May 21, 2016. This event, originally Swedish relay race, was brought to Switzerland in 1974 and it is nowadays one of the largest events of the kind in Europe.

With 14.000 runners, 1.000 teams, and a new winning team, who crossed the finish line after 116.1 km and only 6:45 hours, several old records were broken in one go.



As the most famous and traditional ASVZ event, the SOLA moves brains, bodies and souls in and around Zurich and attracts runners from all over Europe every year. See you at the next edition on May 6, 2017!
