The British University Games
The British University Games (BUGs), BUSA's largest annual event and
the pinnacle of the domestic representative programme for sports
involved, were held in the beginning of April at the University of Bath. The competition pits 500 student athletes from across the country
against one another as they compete for their Home Nation University in
the five sports of badminton, basketball, football, hockey and netball.
As well as an award for the overall top team, there are prizes for the
winning nation in each sport. This year, English Universities have won
the Trustees Trophy for the overall winning nation for the tenth
successive year at the 2004 British University Games.
