For the first time the Swiss University Sport Days took place in the southern part of Switzerland in Tenero, within the State of Tessin, June 2-4, 2014.

The Swiss University Sport Conference has welcomed three new members: Isabelle Liardet, Stephane Maeder, Reto Ineichen all from Lausanne, and Jürg Klingelfuss from Luzern. They got introduced by the president of the conference, Reto Zimmermann, Director of the University Sport Department Bern.

The Swiss University Sport Days traditionally started with the conference of the Directors and a visit of a winery in the lower mountains of Tessin, with a breath-taking view down to the one and only levelled area in Tessin, the level of Magadino.
