At the occasion of the EUSA Executive Committee in Warsaw, an important agreement has been signed to promote university sports events in Poland for the next 2-year period, focusing on the European Universities Games Lodz 2022.

The Polish Tourism Organisation (PTO), represented by Mr Rafal Szlachta; the European University Sports Association (EUSA), represented by Mr Adam Roczek; the University Sports Association of Poland (AZS), represented by Mr Dariusz Piekuta; and the Lodz University of Technology (TUL), represented by Mr Dominik Lezanski, signed an agreement at the PTO headquarters in Warsaw. The partners established cooperation foundations, agreeing that the university sport events organised in Poland will also involve the promotion of Poland, including sport, culture, cuisine and other key aspects.



As one of the largest sports event in Poland, the European Universities Games Lodz 2022 have been recognised by all the partners as an event of high importance and opportunity for mutual cooperation.

The next edition of the European Universities Games will take place in the Polish city of Lodz, between July 17 and 30, 2022. Registration for the event will open on December 15, 2021.
