55 universities from 12 countries have registered to XXVI SELL Student Games what will take place in Tartu, Estonia on May 21.-23. Many of those are from countries who once established the Games – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland, but also from numerous universities from Russia, Ukraine, Germany and elsewhere. A few sports organizations from Asia have also shown their interest to participate in the Games as well.

SELL Student Games project manager Marti Soosaar told that right now all universities all over the world are still welcome to sign up to the Games. There are no limitations concerning the size of the delegation. 11 different sports sre scheduled: athletics, table tennis, basketball, floorball, chess, judo, mini-football, weightlifting, swimming, volleyball and wrestling.

Organisers look forward to host minimum 1500 student athletes. Deadline for quantitative registration to the Games is February 21 and for nominative registration April 21.
