Successful EUSA Internship
With the end of this January, EUSA Office said goodbye to Mr Valentin Dupouey, EUSA Projects Assistant. Mr Dupouey started internship at the European University Sports Association end of January 2011, assisting in sports and communications matters and also contributed to other active projects within EUSA.
 
On behalf of the Executive Committee of EUSA, Mr Dupouey was thanked by Mr Matjaz Pečovnik, Secretary General and Mr Leonz Eder, Treasurer. Both of them wished Mr Dupouey successful continuation of his professional career, and expressed satisfaction and gratitude for his work carried out within the year of his internship in Slovenia.

Also through the experience in EUSA, Mr Dupouey achieved Masters degree in Project Management and Communication in Sports at the Henri Poincaré University in Nancy, with the dissertation on the development of University Sport in Europe.
 
Mr Dupouey previously attained his BA in Sports Management at the Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg and PG Certificate in Sports Development at the University of Gloucestershire in Gloucester. He was an event manager for the 7th European Universities Badminton Championship, held in Nancy, France in 2010, and he also volunteered at the 2nd European Universities Golf Championship, held in Otočec, Slovenia in 2011.

The pilot project of internship proved successful, and EUSA will investigate options to continue with the programme of internship.
