During the 25th Winter Universiade the future organisers and bidders for the Winter Universiades visited the Athletes village and the IBC Media centre in Erzurum, Turkey.

 

The Organizing Committees of the Winter Universiade Maribor 2013 and Winter Universiade Granada 2015, as well as one of the bidding candidates for 2017, Trentino, attended the study tour as part of the FISU WU Observer program.
 

 

Guided by FISU CSU Vice-Chair Leonz Eder and SU Director Marc Vandenplas, who supervised the Village, the delegates visited the different parts of the Athletes’ Village: the accreditation center, the restaurant, the medical center and a typical accommodation room of the athletes. After the visit of the village, the delegates visited the International Broadcasting Centre where FISU Media director Mr Dejan Susovic took over the tour.

Until the end of the Games the Future OC delegates, who all come from Europe, also visited the venues and other facilities.
