At the occasion of a private visit in Málaga, Spain, EUSA Treasurer Mr Leonz Eder used the opportunity to meet with Mr Pedro Montiel, Director of the Sports department of the University of Málaga (UMA) who successfully organised the European Universities Beach Volleyball Championship in Torremolinos in July this year.



UMA will also host the European Universities Futsal Championship in 2013, as well as the World University Futsal Championship, sanctioned by FISU, in 2014. The very active team under Mr Montiel's leadership is already preparing these events with all the partners, among them also the city of Antequera.



Mr Eder met Mr Montiel at the Antequera Golf Club, where the World University Championship was organised in 2010. UMA is considering bidding for the 4th European Universities Golf Championship in 2015 in Antequera.
