Student Commission Members 2007-2008
The EUSA Executive Committee will nominate 4-6 new Student Commission Members for the term of the next two years.
The new commission members will be nominated on the EUSA EC meeting on February 24, 2007. The member federations are asked to send the candidatures to the EUSA office by e-mail until February 20, 2007.

The EUSA Executive Committee will nominate 4 -6 new Student Commission Members for the next two-year term.

Following we would like to give you some information about the objectives of the commission.

The goals of the commission have been defined by the EUSA Executive Committee as follows:

  • The Student Commission is expected to select interested students to from all the EUSA-member countries to work as volunteers on the various European University Championships.
  • The Student Commission is expected to develop informal and formal contacts particularly to the European student organisations in close cooperation with the EUSA office.
  • One of the tasks of the Student Commission is to assist in preparing the EUSA Symposium as well as to promote it among students.
  • The Student Commission is expected to create and develop an additional communication platform in order to promote EUSA, its ideas and its activities.


The STC work will be coordinated by Mr. Rafael Gil Salinas, EUSA Executive Committee Member, who will also prepare the proposals for the work of the STC and the involvement of the students in the EUSA Executive Committee in the future. The EUSA EC will decide on these proposals on one of the next EC meetings in the near future.

We would like to remind you, that the work of the Student Commission is mainly based on the use of modern technology of communication. Regular meetings are neither intended nor funded by EUSA. The travel cost of the meetings (1-2 meetings per year) will have to be covered by the National University Sports Associations.

The EUSA Executive Committee will appoint the new commission members on its next meeting on February 24, 2007 and therefore asks the member federations to send the candidatures to the EUSA office by e-mail until February 20, 2007.
