Strong interest for the EUSA Games 2016
European University Sports Association (EUSA) is proud to announce to have received 5 letters of intention of potential hosts of the 3rd European Universities Games, to be held in 2016.
By December 1, 2012 - the deadline to submit the letter of intention, the National University Sports Associations, EUSA members from the following countries expressed interest to organise the EUSA Games (in alphabetical order of the countries):
- Bulgaria: VARNA/ALBENA
- Croatia: ZAGREB/RIJEKA
- Finland: TAMPERE
- Lithuania: KAUNAS
- Portugal: COIMBRA
EUSA will now provide the bidding dossier and more information to the candidates, who will have to submit their bid until March 1, 2013. The 2016 Games will be attributed in the beginning of June 2013.
