The Italian University Championships, which were held in Milan, Italy between May 16 and 25, also included sport climbing, which is one of the new sports featured in the sports programme of the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

EUSA Sports Manager Mr Patrik Perosa visited the Sport Climbing Championship in Milan on May 23. There he also met the newly appointed EUSA technical delegate for sports climbing Mr Carlo Beltrame and Mrs Clara Maria Cristaudo, sports manager at the Italian Sport Climbing Federation (FASI).

In the meetings, the European Universities Sport Climbing Championship 2015 and the sports rules were discussed; the proposals will also be discussed within the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC).
