The Croatian City of Split will be the host of next year’s European Universities Futsal Championship, EUSA Executive Committee Meeting and International Rowing Regatta Sv. Duje, organized under EUSA Patronage. 

In the light of preparation of these events, Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Secretary General met with Mr Toni Gamulin, Vice-President of the Croatian Academic Sports Federation and Mr Toni Batinic, Secretary General of the University Sports Association of Split. The meeting took place on October 18, 2022 in Split.

The participants discussed the organizational details for preparation of the events, taking into the account gained experiences from previously successful organisation of the European Universities Championships in Split. In 2017, this Croatian costal city namely hosted the EUSA championships in Sports Climbing, 3x3 Basketball and Beach-Volleyball. 

Mr Pecovnik also presented the decisions of the EUSA Executive Committee, taken at its last meeting in Istanbul, which were connected to EUSA Sport Events and attribution of the organisation of the next Executive Committee Meeting. The meeting will take place in Split in May 2023, alongside with the traditional International Rowing Regatta Sv. Duje.
