At the occasion of the Auditor's meeting in Ljubljana, Mr Leonz Eder, Managing Director of the Swiss University Sports Federation (SUSF), also EUSA Treasurer a.i. and EC member, presented an official gift from SUSF to Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Secretary General.

The cow bell is a traditional Swiss gift, very popular not only for tourists, but still used by the majority of farmers for their cows, Mr Eder said. The Swiss University Sports Federation would like to congratulate EUSA to the new headquarters which is also an important signal for the growing importance of EUSA, he added.

 

In the past years the Swiss University Sports Federation intensified its contribution to EUSA both as organizer and participant to the events. I hope such good cooperation will continue also in the future said Mr Pecovnik and thanked Mr Eder for the gift presented.

Switzerland is member of EUSA since the EUSA foundation in 1999 in Vienna. Also the legal seat of EUSA is situated in Zurich. This year - in September 2011, the Swiss University Sports Federation also organises the 8th European Universities Tennis Championship in St Gallen.
