The annual General Assembly of the Slovenian University Sports Association was held in Ljubljana on February 4, 2009. The Assembly approved the annual accounts and the activity plan and elected new Executive Committee for the period of next 4-years (2009-2013). Prof. dr. Otmar Kugovnik was re-elected as the President, while Bozidar Pucnik, prof. dr. Rado Pisot and Matjaz Pecovnik were elected as the SUSA Vice-Presidents.

The biggest challenge of SUSA in the next period is the organisation of 2013 Winter Universiade, that will be held in Maribor. SUSA will also organise the European Universities Golf Championship in 2010. More details on SUSA can be found on the official website: www.susa.org
