At the General Assembly of the Swiss University Sports Federation (SHSV/FSSU) in Berne, President Martin Hodler was re-elected for the next term of two years. Andreas Csonka was elected as Vicepresident. After the demission of Andrea RĂĽttimann-RĂĽegg (Treasurer), Isabelle Roch-Pentucci (Swiss Olympic Association) and Beatrice Landolt (Student Representative), Olaf Frost (Zurich, Treasurer) and Nora Weibel (Berne, Student Representative) were newly elected.
SHSV presented the results from 2005 Universiades (Izmir, Innsbruck), which have been the most successful for the Swiss students ever.
