SHARE 2.0 Community of Practice on Health starts
On April 10, key stakeholders forming the SHARE 2.0 Community of Practice (CoP) on Health met online, for the first working meeting of the body.
The overarching goal of SHARE 2.0 is to facilitate the exchange of successful practices and ideas, while also aiding in the identification and utilization of EU funding for the advancement of sports and physical activity. Four major CoP have been defined, with the European University Sports Association (EUSA) being invited to take part in the steering group on CoP on Health.
The SHARE 2.0 steering group of CoP on Health is composed by: Andreu Raya Demidoff (CoP Lead, Sport for Education & Health - DES), Strahil Christov (CoP Vice-lead, DG EAC of the European Commission), Martina Morosi & Florencia Herrera (CoP Coordinators, ICF), with Steering Group Members: Laura Maria Lehiste (International Sport and Culture Association - ISCA), Spartaco Grieco (MSV), Andrej Pisl (European University Sports Association - EUSA), Colin Kenny (Special Olympics), Alina Chebes (EuropeActive), Clarisse Paillard (European Federation for Company Sport - EFCS).
The first meeting was dedicated to discussing and defining the principles of governance and working methods, discussing next activities and timeline. The CoP on Health Steering Group will meet monthly, also contributing to the workshops on the four communities and annual SHARE 2.0 conferences.
