During the past week, several important meetings took place at the Office of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) in Ljubljana.

On 14th of December, EUSA had a visit and meeting with the director of FurkiSport, Mr Marin Furcic.The meeting involved overviews and highlights of the cooperation so far, and especially throughout the year of 2022. Future plans, collaborations and fields of improvement were also discussed.

The next day, on 15th of December, EUSA Office was visited by Mr Bogdan Gabrovec, marking his last day in office as the President of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia. EUSA President Mr Adam Roczek, EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik and EUSA Treasurer Mr Francis Cirianni, expressed gratitude for the good cooperation, mutual projects and great work during his presidency. Elections for the new President of the NOC Slovenia were held the following day, and the General Assembly elected Ms Franjo Bobinac as the new President of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia.

On 17th of December, the National Director of the French University Sports Federation (FFSU) Mr Xavier Dung and  FFSU Vice President Mr Lionel Girard visited EUSA Headquarters for a working meeting - joined online by FFSU President Mr Cedric Terret.

As FFSU is one of the most active federations, at the meeting upon discussion were the possibilities for organisation of future collaborative events and to improve cooperation in general. The present EUSA and FFSU representatives discussed and clarified the position of FFSU, how it can be more involved in EUSA, future EUSA sports events and policy developments.
