The project Strengthening Coaching with the Objective to Raise Equality - SCORE, focusing on gender equality promoting equal opportunities, namely gender equality in coaching, officially concluded end of 2016. The project was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport Programme within the Collaborative Partnerships of the European Union.

One of the important project legacies is development of an interactive toolkit, which is an educational awareness pack, aiming at increasing the number of female coaches and breaking the barriers for female coaching by innovative solutions and offering additional resources. The toolkit is available online, and a limited edition of the toolkit on a USB stick has also been made available.



Although the project officially concluded, the partners are ensuring sustainability of the project and will continue working in promoting gender equity and equality in sport.



The success of the project was ensured by an excellent project team, ran by the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO), and partners, including Sport Coach UK, Finnish Coaches Association, International Council of Coaching Excellence (ICCE), European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE), Sport and Citizenship, European University Sports Association (EUSA), German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), Swedish Sports Confederation (RF), National Olympic Committee of Croatia (NOC Croatia), Lithuanian Union of Sports Federations (LUSF), Cyprus Sports Organisation (CSO) and Portuguese Sports Confederation (CDP).
