Road to Xiamen: 3x3 FISU World University League 2017 Finals coming up

Between September 14 and 17, 16 men's and 16 women's 3x3 Basketball university teams will come together in Xiamen, China for the FISU 3x3 World University League Finals, held also in cooperation with FIBA.

University teams from all over the world will try to make their way to the top of the 3x3 basketball world by taking home title of World University League champions.

Most of the teams qualified through the continental tournaments, for Europe this was the European Universities 3x3 Basketball Championship, which was held last month in Split, Croatia.

Male champion from Europe: University of Kragujevac

In the men’s tournament, the EUSA champions University of Kragujevac (SRB) are the number one seed. In the women’s bracket, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (UKR) is the top-seeded university. Europe will be represented also by other university sports teams, including the female winners of the last year's League Finals, the Lithuanian Sport University (LTU).

32 university teams represent 22 countries for the third edition of the 3x3 World University League finals. Through a series of "Road to Xiamen 2017," the International University Sport Federation (FISU) presents the teams which will take part in the event.
