Registration open for BUCS Conference
The Registration for the BUCS Conference 2014 is now open; representatives of Universities and National Universities Sports Federations are invited to the Swansea University between July 8 and 11 to take part. BUCS Conference 2014 is officially endorsed by the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and the European Network of Academic Sport Services (ENAS).
 
The theme of the conference is ‘University Sport and the World Stage’ and the sub themes include topics like Hosting major sporting events and teams (National & International), Developing a world-class infrastructure (Coaches, Volunteers, Facilities & Services) and The global market place (Recruitment, Employability, Research).

During each breakout session a choice of 6 seminars/workshops is planned. This will offer a broader appeal to Student Officers, Administrators, Sport Development staff, Senior Managers, Health & Fitness staff, Facility Operators and those involved in Marketing & Business Development.

BUCS Conference will also feature encompass exhibitions and awards
 
The conference programme will open on Tuesday July 8 in the afternoon and will run through to the black-tie Annual Awards Dinner on the evening of Thursday July 10, incorporating evening social activities and the annual BUCS Exhibition, with over 40 trade partners. A full draft programme is available on www.bucs.org.uk. We are happy to announce that EUSA will also be presented at teh event.

The Conference registration/booking portal is open until June 6, 2014. International colleagues can access the non-BUCS member rate of £499 for the conference and Awards Dinner, including accommodation and catering. Options for day-attendance and accommodation are also available. All delegates to BUCS Conference 2014, including guests and speakers, will be hosted on the Swansea University campus and accommodated in University halls of residence.
