Register for the European Universities Games 2022

Registration for the European Universities Games, held this summer between July 17 and 30 in Lodz, Poland, has been reopened. We welcome student-athletes from across Europe, to come and compete in 20 sports and also engage in educational and social activities.

We expect about 5.000 participants, representing over 400 European universities from 40 countries, to come and compete in the largest academic sport event in Europe, taking part also in educational and social programme.

Lodz awaits you

Over 500 entries have been received by now, and the invitation to participate is still open. Athletes aged 17-30, enrolled in higher education studies, will be able to compete in 3x3 Basketball, Badminton, Basketball, Beach Handball, Beach Volleyball, Chess, Football, Futsal, Handball, Judo, Karate, Kickboxing, Muaythai, Sport Climbing, Swimming, Table Tennis (including Para Table Tennis), Tennis, Volleyball, Water Polo and Sitting Volleyball as a demo sport. Apart of the sport competitions, the Games include educational and social programme, featuring various workshops in the topics like Anti-Doping, Dual Career, Inclusion, Volunteering, as well as the Rectors' Conference.

Register for the European Universities Games 2022

The registration is conducted by the national university sport bodies in Europe, under the umbrella of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and the EUSA Institute. Within the second General Entry deadline, registrations are accepted until February 15, 2022.

Health and well-being of the participants and local population is a top priority for EUSA and the Organising Committee of the Games, and all necessary measures will be implemented, in order to carry out the event in a safe way. Full vaccination requirement of all the participants will be enforced, for protection and health of all the athletes, officials, staff and volunteers, as well as the local population.

Registration for EUG2022 is open

The event is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, and has wide institutional and operational support, including the Lodz University of Technology as the main host, University Sports Association of Poland (AZS), City of Lodz, Lodz Province, other educational institutions in Lodz and the region, Ministry of Education and Science, national and local tourism organisations, Polish Olympic Committee, sports federations and media partners.
