Promoting skills development and employment in sport
After launching the handbook on skills development in and through sport, aimed to raise awareness about the sport-based interventions, to provide practical advice for planning such initiatives and to boost employment in sport, partners of the Skills for You(th) through Sport (SK4YS) project met online on September 4.
Representatives of partner organisations confirmed the launch of the digital campaign in September, and an online conference to be held on October 8 in the afternoon. If you are interested in the topic, save the date and stay tuned for the registration to open later this month.
If you are a representative of youth or sport organisations, a coach, trainer or youth leader, or interested in the subject matter, kindly note that the project handbook is already available for download. It highlight topics especially related to soft skills development through sport, the contribution of sport and physical activity to key competences and developing sport and employability programmes for disadvantaged young people.
