The President of the Slovenian Olympic Committee (OKS) Mr Bogdan Gabrovec visited the offices of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) in Ljubljana, where he met the EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik and the office staff.

EUSA has established cooperation with the Slovenian Olympic Committee already early after the EUSA office was established in Slovenia, and has intensified the cooperation following the Memorandum of understanding signed between EUSA the European Olympic Committees (EOC), as well as between the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).



OKS and EUSA through its Institute have partnered on an Erasmus+ supported project Athletes Friendly Education – AFE, focused on the promotion of dual careers of athletes and the support of innovative educational approaches and good governance in sport.

Mr Gabrovec and Mr Pecovnik also discussed future cooperation and activities, and will meet again shortly to further discuss the practicalities.
