Preparing for the EUSA Conference 2017 in Coimbra

Representatives of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) are visiting Coimbra, preparing for the next EUSA Conference, to be held April 7-9, 2017. A delegation of the EUSA Education Commission and Staff was welcomed by the representatives of the Portuguese Academic Federation of University Sport (FADU) and the Organising Committee of the European Universities Games 2018 (EUG2018).

EUSA was represented by Mr Milan Zvan, member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Education Commission, Ms Sara Rozman, Education and Development Manager and Secretary of the Commission, and Mr Andrej Pisl, Communications and Projects Manager.

Discussing details of the EUSA Conference 2017

On behalf of the hosts, FADU representatives were lead by Mr Joao Nascimento, FADU Vice-President and Mr Manuel Veloso, Secretary General, and on behalf of the EUG2018 Organising Committee Mr Mario Santos, Secretary General and Mr Goncalo Reis, together with a team of colleagues.

At the meeting on December 1, participants confirmed the title of the conference - Fostering inclusion and well-being through sport, the sub-themes of plenaries and workshops. Official invitation with details will be published on December 7, four months before the start of the Conference.
