Sarajevo is ready to host the 5th European Universities Karate Championship, to be held July 22 - 25, 2011, with the technical meeting in the evening of July 21 and departures on July 25. This will be the second EUSA championship this year – and in general – to take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Earlier this June, Mr Rajko Vujosevic, EUSA technical delegate for Karate, visited Sarajevo. Together with the representatives of the Organising Committee, they first inspected the accommodation facilities for delegations and officials at the Students’ campus Nedzarici. The sports competitions will be held at the Gymnasium of the Sports grammar school in Sarajevo.



The preparations for the event are well undergo, and a solid participation is expected. European national university sports association may still register their athletes to participate until July 8, 2011.
