Polish Universities Skiing Championship
Universities Skiing Championship of Poland was concluded on 3rd of March in Zakopane – the city called the Polish winter capital.
The three day competition gathered more than 500 students from 64 universities across the country. This was one of the biggest skiing events this winter. The Championship was held in two competitions: Slalom (SL) and Giant Slalom (GS). The first day was the qualifying round and finals in GS. Second day was the qualification in SL and in evening - integration party where the best skiers in Academic Polish Cup in Alpine Skiing (AZS Winter CUP) were awarded.
Third and final day saw the finals in Slalom competition. Great summary was held in “Dworzec Tatrzanski” Club where the best skiers were awarded whit medals and prizes of Universities Skiing Championship of Poland.

Giant Slalom (GS) Women: Karolina Klimek – Academy of Physical Education in Krakow
Slalom (SL) Women: Anna Berezik – University of Bielsko-Biala
Giant Slalom (GS) Men: Mateusz Garniewicz - Poznan University of Technology
Slalom (SL) Men: Mateusz Garniewicz - Poznan University of Technology
