Order of Merit for EUSA President
The Angelus Silesius State School of Higher Vocational Education in Walbrzych is celebrating its 15th Anniversary in 2014.

The official solemn academy marking the anniversary, chaired by the Rector prof. dr. Elzbieta Lonc, was held on 17th June in the School’s new auditorium, gathering great number of public and university society authorities.

The anniversary was an occasion to award number of individuals who contributed to the development of the School. Among the four individuals receiving the Order of Merit was the President of the European University Sports Association (EUSA), Mr Adam Roczek. The award was presented in recognition of his contribution to the development of sport and dedication to promoting the institution on the national and international level.

Over 2500 students study in four faculties of the Angelus Silesius State School (ASSS). This higher education institution is a member of EURASHE – European Institution of Higher Education.

As a result of the achievements in Polish Universities Championships, the ASSS men’s futsal team took part in the European Universities Futsal Championship 2011 in Tampere, men’s football team in the 1st edition of the European University Games 2012 in Cordoba and men’s basketball team in the European Universities Basketball Championship 2013 in Split.
