The office of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) hosted the delegation of the European Universities Games Zagreb-Rijeka 2016 in Ljubljana, on November 5, 2014 for an operational meeting.

EUSA Office staff, represented by Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, Secretary General; Mr Patrik Perosa, Sports Manager and Mr Andrej Pisl, Communications and Projects Manager, welcomed the Croatian guests and shared some reflections from this year’s European Universities Games, held in Rotterdam.



The delegation of the European Universities Games 2016 was represented by Mr Marko Zunic, secretary general; Mrs Danira Bilic, sports director; Ms Jelena Matesic, international relations; Mr Davor Habljak, Croatian Academic Sports Federation and assistants sports directors from Zagreb and Rijeka - Ms Ankica Mustapic, Mr Bojan Susanj and Ms Kristina Kregar.



After the general introduction, the meeting focused on sports matters, technical and organisational requirements, venues, communication and preparation activities, in order to lay the foundation for optimal operational cooperation between EUSA and the Organising Committee of the Games.



The European Universities Games 2016 will also be presented at this year’s EUSA Convention, to be held in Ljubljana between November 13 and 16, 2014.
