One more week to register for EUSA Winter Championships 2023
If you thought that the Championships season at EUSA is done, you are wrong. The preparations for the very first ever European Universities Winter Sports Championships are in full steam!
To be held in Val di Zoldo, Italy from December 18-21, this European Universities Winter Championship will already be a great start for the festive days that will follow.
If you want to be part of this event that will break the ice of being on EUSA sports programme for the very first time, do not forget to register!
There is just one more week for you to register and be among the first athletes that are going to participate in the inaugural EUSA Winter Sports Championship in the scenic area of the Dolomites, where competitions in Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding and Snow Volleyball – as a demonstration sport, will be featured.
The Championships are being organized by CUS Venezia, in close collaboration with FederCUSI (Italian University Sport Federation), Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and Iuav University of Venice.
The event is expected to attract athletes, officials, organizational staff, and volunteers, in the amazing atmosphere of the beautiful mountain setting of the Dolomites.
The participants and attendees will have the chance to stay in the area for at least five days, witnessing an event organized with a lot of effort, passion, and excitement from both sides: EUSA and the Organizing Committee. This event will be the place to be in December, to see and cheer for some great university athletes, to experience the great area of the Dolomites, as well as to learn more about sustainable tourism through the collaboration with the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation.
As mentioned before, two sports will be offered at the inaugural edition of the event - Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding. 3 disciplines are foreseen to be featured in each of the sports: Slalom, Giant Slalom and Parallel. In addition, Snow Volleyball will be featured as a demonstrative sport. All events are open for men and women. Current students and recent graduates from European universities aged between 17 and 30 are legible to take part.
All this sounds like something you should not miss, so use the extended deadline and register through the respective National University Sports Associations (NUSA).
The deadline to register is 15th of October, and may be extended in case of availability. Please contact the national university sports body in your country to register.
