The board of the Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) appointed a new Secretary General, Ms Hanna Laakso, after the standing one Mrs Hilkka Laitinen was employed as Manager of International Relations at the Finnish Sport Federation Valo and the Finnish Olympic Committee in December 2015.

Ms Laakso started her one year mandate in the beginning of January 2016 and knows the federation’s field of operation well after having worked in OLL as Special Advisor in University Sports since 2010, where her field of responsibilities included support for local development of sport services at higher education institutions and coordinating the network of people working there.

“I am very much looking forward to implementing OLL’s new, ambitious strategy as well as continuing to promote students’ equal access to sports,” the new Secretary General stated.
