New Chief Executive at BUSA
The British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) is delighted to announce Ian Randell as its new Chief Executive. Randell, 33, is the former Chief Executive of the Ladies European Tour (the governing body for ladies professional tournament golf in Europe) where he is widely accredited with growing both the tournament schedule and vastly increasing its popularity during his time at the helm.
Randell is a graduate of The University of Warwick with a degree in Management Sciences where he also captained the University Golf team.
He remains a keen sportsman with a golf handicap of five and is a regular competitor at many other ball-sports.
The experience gained in all aspects of his career in professional sport means that he is well equipped to develop the status of BUSA as an important element within the national sporting framework.
