MLEA partners meet in Belgrade

Partners of the Micro Learning Entrepreneurship for Athletes (MLEA) project met in Belgrade on October 27, working on educational material, targeting current and former athletes as well as sports professionals and introducing them the basics of business management and entrepreneurship.

The meeting was hosted by the National Olympic Committee of Serbia, at their offices in Belgrade. The participants received warm welcome from Mr Đorđe Višacki, Secretary General of NOC Serbia, who also presented a bit about the history of the Olympic movement in Serbia giving a special spotlight on promotion of Olympic values and cooperation, work and great educational results from projects.

Welcomes by the hosts

After the introductions and welcomes, the project coordinators presented an overview of the project tasks and short recap of the development of the education material. Special focus was given on the completion of the working packages, the foreseen multiplier event as well as the update of the project being prolonged for three additional months.

Following on the agenda was a short update of the Intellectual Output I and the research related to it, done by Mr Yusuf Hasan, from Stiftelsen Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), as well as the promotion of the project and its activities on the Dual Career Conference in Cartagena, Spain, that took place in September.

Update on the gamification part of the project and the process of choosing a potential platform, that will support the publications of the modules, was also presented by Mr Goran Oblaković from Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM). Mr Oblakovic, gave an update on the video prototypes and presented the raw version of the prototype videos done by ZSEM, along with other details about the post production and realization of the beta versions of the filmed module scripts.

The meeting was wrapped up with discussion involving ideas for future dissemination of the project results, possible promotion activities, future tasks and deadlines for the partners, as well as details about the multiplier event planned to happen in February 2023, that will include the final partners meeting. After the meeting, the present participants had the chance to see the place where the National Olympic Committee of Serbia was established in 1910, as well as the Olympic clock.
