Memories of the European Universities Games 2022

Today we mark and celebrate a month after the closure of the European Universities Games 2022 in Lodz, Poland and all the success, great competitions, experience and fun that made the games the best and largest multi-sport event in Europe, this year.

Celebrating the occasion, the Organizational Committee of the European Universities Games 2022 put together a video that merge and unite all the memories from all 15 days of competition. This video is a joined memory and representation of the experience of over 6000 people that were involved, recording 4459 participants, representing 422 universities from 38 countries and more than 800 volunteers.

The European Universities Games 2022 recorded a great media coverage, also. Thanks to the extensive photo and video gallery, the athletes, officials, representatives, and greater public, had the chance to see captured moments from the competitions, educational events and social events that had been part of the Games. Celebrating all the great photos and videos, the Organizational Committee opened a Photo Contest where people can vote for the best photo taken during the European Universities Games. The title Best Photo of EUG 2022 belongs to the photo where the women football team of Sport University of Bordeaux is celebrating their win, right after the medal ceremony. This photo will get the honorary place at the Sport Museum at Zatoka Sportu.
