EUSA Secretary General, Mr Matjaz Pecovnik visited EUSA Legal Seat in Zurich for several working meetings on January 8, 2014. Firstly, Mr Pecovnik met with Mr Thomas Loher, EUSA Legal Advisor to discuss the legal matters connected to the operation of the association.

After, at the ETH Zurich, EUSA Secretary General together with Mr Leonz Eder, EUSA Vice President met with Mr Lorenz Ursprung, Director of Zurich University Sports Association (ASVZ).



Together they discussed the details on the organisation of the EUSA Executive Committee Meeting to be held this autumn in Zurich. EUSA representatives also paid an inspection visit to the proposed hotel and conference facilities for the meeting.



In the afternoon, a working meeting with FISU World University Championships (WUC) Department was held. Mr Paulo Ferreira, FISU WUC Director and Mr Julien Buhajezuk, Executive Assistant together with Mr Pecovnik and Mr Eder, who is also FISU Vice President and WUC CTI Chair, analysed the current situation on the field of organisation of  World and European Universities Championships, discussed the calendar and other organisational matters connected to WUC and EUC. The participants agreed on several common activities to strengthen their mutual cooperation.
