The ENGSO Forum in Sofia was also an opportunity for the representative of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) to meet with the EUSA member from Bulgaria - Association for University Sport Academic (AUS).

On October 29, EUSA Communications and Projects Manager Mr Andrej Pisl met with AUS delegation, the President Mr Zlatko Djurov, Vice-President Mr Petar Zografov and Secretary Ms Elka Galeva.



AUS delegation gave an overview of the activities and projects on national level, while EUSA representative presented the plan and activities for 2017, reviewing possibilities of participation. Discussion focused also on participation of student athletes from Bulgaria at EUSA events, as well as AUS interest to organise and host international events in Bulgaria.



Bulgaria already hosted EUSA-related events in the past: the European Universities Rugby 7's Championship in 2013, as well as European Universities Cricket Trophy in 2015.
