Briefly describe how and why did you get involved in Basketball?
I got involved around 10 years ago, because my best friend started to play basketball and she said that I should try it, and I did . And I started to love the game.
"It was an awesome experince, I really missed playing in a championship like this"
What do you study? How do you balance your study, trainings and competitions?
I study physical education and sport. I always study first and than go to practice, even if I’m not playing for a team anymore because of an injury.
Tell us about your experience of the European Universities Championships 2017. Is this your first time at an EUSA event?
It was an awesome experince, I really missed playing in a championship like this, to be a part of a team, I made new friends, I got more experince, learned new things. And yes, It was my first time at an EUSA event, and I really hope it won’t be the last.
"It was my first time at an EUSA event , and I really hope it won’t be the last!"
In 2018 the European Universities Games 2018 will take place in Coimbra, Portugal, do you hope to be there? Why do you think university sport events are important?
I really hope to be there, we will work hard to get there. I really think that university sport events are important because you get to learn a few things from the others, and you can make new firends, create a bond with the team that will never be broken.
This is your chance! What is your message to European students like yourself?
Work hard, study hard and don’t give up on your dreams. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Hope to see all of you in Portugal next year!
