Members of the Executive Committee of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) held their second online meeting of the year on March 30, 2021.

The main discussion was on the European Universities Games, seeking possibilities and options after receiving news that the event cannot be held in Belgrade this July. Communication with the EUG2021 local organising committee and the Serbian government is ongoing regarding an alternative solution, and a decision is expected to be taken within a month’s time.



The Executive Committee members were otherwise also acquainted with the office report from the past period and updates on other activities and events of the organisation and its Institute.

It was also confirmed that EUSA will organise a special online seminar on Erasmus+ Sport Funding for its members on April 12, starting at 3pm CE(S)T, using the Zoom platform.



Earlier in the day, the Governing council of the EUSA Institute was held, approving the report for 2020 and the plans for 2021-22.
