New board for the period of 2024 - 2028 of the Latvian University Sports Federation was elected in a hybrid General Assembly, which will continue being led by Ms Agita Abele as she was re-elected on the position of President. 

Ms Agita Abele will continue to lead the Latvian University Sports Federation (LASS) for the next four years, as it was decided at the assembly held partially remotely at the end of March, reported LUSF.

The re-elected president, thanked for the trust shown, expressing her appreciation to the elected members of the LUSF Board from the most active universities in Latvia in the field of sports, and also marked the special period of the next 4 years of operation as a period full of challenges and new important sports events with a common goal - to represent student sports in a dignified manner, both in Latvia and in the world of international sports!

The LUSF board was elected for the next four years, including:

Agita Abele (President), Ilvis Abelkalns (University of Latvia), Uisenis Bisenieks (University of Latvia), Ceslav Mateikovičs -(Latvian University of Biosciences and Technology), Laura Petroviča (Technical University of Riga), Laura Ritova (Riga Stradins University), Signija Santa (Riga Stradins University), Sergej Saulīte (Latvian Academy of Sports Pedagogy) and Sanita Sveile (Technical University of Riga).
