K2S coordination meeting selecting the volunteers
On May 5, the partners of the Erasmus+ project Future volunteers - Key to success is Generation Z (K2S-GenZ) met online for a scheduled coordination meeting.
The partners focused on the next steps of implementation of the project, selecting the volunteers to actively contribute within project. Among the events planned for the near future there will be an online welcome event and workshop, where volunteers will have an opportunity to get to know each other, and practical trainings on national and international university sport events.
During the meeting, the partners also learned some useful and interesting information about the generation Z from the research conducted, including the generation characteristics as well as digital solutions for communication with them.
The small-scale cooperation partnership project involves three organisations from two countries - Sports Club of Miskolc University (MEAFC) and Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUSF/MEFS) from Hungary and the EUSA Institute from Slovenia. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
Members of the partnership are committed to the development of university sports movement and the core values of this community. Long-term goals include encouragement the active participation of young people, promoting the values of volunteering as a valuable job experience also through learning through practice. The project studies the requirements in the field of volunteering, especially taking the characteristics and needs of Generation Z, gathering feedbacks from stakeholders and produce strategically thoughtful professional materials.
