On 5th of May, 2006, the President of International Olympic Committee Dr. Jacques Rogge and his wife Anne Rogge visited Lithuania. Honorary Doctorate Conferment was given to Dr. Jacques Rogge at the Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education and University of Vilnius. The President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus gave Mr. Jacques Rogge the National Award.


Mr. Rogge also visited the Lithuanian Students Sports Association (LSSA), and was received with much pride and honour by the LSSA representatives.
