The traditional event The Friendship Games, hosted by the Tel Aviv University Sports Club and ASA Israel is taking place again this summer in Eilat, Israel. 

Each summer for the past 18 years the Tel Aviv University Sports Club hosts this event, as it will be this year when the Friendship Games 2023 will be taking place between 22nd and 28th of June.

The Friendship Games mission is a "simple" one - to create friendship in the Middle East and other countries, using Sport as a bridge to connect people. The power of sport provide the basis of encounters and friendships between students from diverse cultures, religions, and backgrounds.

Male and female university teams and clubs will be able to participate in the Tournament and compete in basketball and mixed teams will have the opportunity to compete in street ball 3x3.
This June, Eilat and the Friendship Games will offer another competition, a lot of medals and trophies, entertaining and educational events, and another opportunity for long lasting friendships.

The event will be held under the patronage of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
