The Croatian Academic Sports Federation (CASF) and the local organising committee in Split are inviting university eights team to the International rowing regatta in Sveti Duje / Split which will be held on May 6 and 7, 2017, under the patronage of the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

The 16th International rowing regatta St Duje is celebrated on St Domnius Day, and features competition in eights from Croatian and international universities.



The competition consists of the race of the university eights from Croatia and abroad and race of legends between the Oxford, Cambridge and Split. University Eights Races take place at the 1000m long racing course in Spinut, with an increasing number of participating teams every year. The increase culminated in the past four years due to the participation of the best known names in university rowing, the Oxford and Cambridge Blue Boats.

The crews will be arriving to Split on Friday morning, May 5, and the main races take part on Saturday, May 6, followed by a social evening. The event concludes on Sunday with Oxford-Cambridge-Split Legends Race.
