From 4 to 9 July, 2016 nearly 300 students and university sport managers will be able to share their experience and learn from new ones on the occasion of the 13th FISU Forum. The event will be held in Montpellier, one of the oldest university cities in Europe and in the world.

The main theme of the 2016 FISU Forum ‘From the Origins to the Future of University Sport’ also includes several subthemes, including Values/Ethics/Integrity/Anti-doping; Gender equality / Equal opportunities or access; Leadership; Health/Social Care; Volunteers and Dual Career.



The event is organised by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), in cooperation with the French University Sport Federation (FFSU), Regional Committee of University Sport Languedoc Roussillon and other partners. The Forum is held biennially under the auspices of FISU, aimed to contribute to the development of university sport worldwide.



The registration for the 170 FISU member associations is already open for the 2016 edition. The next edition will be organised in 2018 in Krasnoyarsk, host city of the 2019 Winter Universiade.
